caught in a contest of lies and deception
falsely seduced to start praying to a new god
ive crossed the line between war and perdition
not comprehending how my future would unfold

caught on a one way trip to doom and cataclysm
drawn like a moth towards the flame

save me from fires of eternity
save me from damnation
dont let me burn in hell
rescue me from everlasting agony
rescue me save me from myself

too many times ive regretted my choices
trying in vain to renounce the demon within
am i the remedy or am i the poison now that the darkness has leeched onto my skin
